Anton Chekhov
A night of…
A triple-bill of Chekhov’s finest shorts.
Join us for an evening dedicated to Anton Chekhov’s short masterpieces. This evening features three of the Russian master's most beloved short plays.
Experience the fiery battle of the sexes in The Bear, the hauntingly beautiful reflections of an aging actor in Swansong, and the frantic chaos of failed romance in The Proposal. From explosive arguments over property and pedigree to quiet momtents of theatrical nostalgia, these three masterpieces prove that while the world may change, the absurdity of the human heart remains timeless.
Join us for a night of quick wit, high drama, and the bittersweet humor that only Chekhov can provide!
Tired Horses go Off Topic!
This evening of Chekhov is a special joint venture between Tired Horses Theatre and Off Topic Theatre.
This partnership is born from a shared love of character-driven drama and a desire to explore the messy, hilarious, and heartbreaking realities of the human condition. Together, we are thrilled to bring these Chekhov masterpieces to a modern stage.
